HOME

The “Batey”, sacred space, place of celebrations and meetings where “Taíno” Indians interacted socially through the “ball game.” Batey Zipline Adventure (BZA) invites you to celebrate with nature the enjoyment of that sacred space where you will learn and have fun with us in a responsible and safe way.

Batey Zipline Adventure is a family company with over ten years of experience in Ecotourism. We are located at the “Angeles” ward of the Municipality of Utuado five minutes from the Caguana's Ceremonial Indigenous Park. For six years we have been combining the educational and nature adventures, like long interpretative walks, visits to Tanamá River, caves and caverns with adventures of more adrenaline like, rappelling (to go down a cliff in ropes) and zipline or canopy (tiroliano).

Ecotourism and Nature adventure in Puerto Rico

Hi to all nature lovers and outdoor adventurers from all over the world:
We want to let visitors know a little bit about us. We live in the tropical forest of Puerto Rico ( 5 minutes away from the Caguana Indigenous Ceremonial Park ) and we call our land "Batey del Cemí". In this land and facilities is were our family business " Batey Zipline Adventure" takes place; promoting Ecotourism and Nature Adventures as a sustainable way of living. Is in these same facilities (30 acres) where 8 years ago we started the tours with the local company Acampa Nature Adventures offering the "Organic Tanamá Adventure", till these days. Since 2001 we have been working in a Sustainable and Holistic way of living; going from Organic gardening, self sufficient home construction, solar power, spring water, home made composting toilets and more. We have been preparing the land for the present and for the future, learning how to use our natural resources to the maximum and at the same time protecting them. By 2006 we started to receive local visitors on tours by our own and 2 years later we started advertising our place as Batey Zipline Adventure. So if you are looking for a culture and educative tour combined with nature adventure like zipline or canopy , caving and rappelling this is the place and the space... Come and enjoy the beauties of Puerto Rico at Utuado with Batey Zipline Adventure!
